The Application Process at Webasto

  • Application Submission

As soon as you find a job that suits you, you can easily apply via our online job portal. Here you can upload your documents - such as your cover letter, your resume and your references.

  • Interview

If you apply for an apprenticeship or a dual study program with us, the selection is made by our training team after a successful legal review in advance. As a rule, we hold two interviews with all applicants. The first interview is conducted online via Microsoft Teams. For the second interview, we invite you personally to the site. Beforehand, you will be given the task of preparing a presentation on a given topic, which you will present in the second interview. This will be followed by an interview with our training management.

During your interview, questions will be asked about your resume and your skills to find out if you are a good fit for the position. Of course, Webasto, the team and the tasks will be presented so that you also get a detailed insight. Finally, there is always enough time for open questions.

  • Positive feedback and contract offer by phone

After a positive interview with you, we will usually contact you by phone to make you a contract offer. You are also welcome to clarify any questions with our colleagues from the training team. If you have also accepted, we will directly initiate a contract. You will then receive it by mail.

  • You Are Hired

We look forward to working with you and getting you started at Webasto.

  • Your Onboarding

We know that the start of your professional life can bring many challenges. That's why our apprenticeship team is there to support you from day one. You will also be assigned a mentor from a higher apprenticeship year who will support you at all times.

At the beginning, you can look forward to exciting and informative introductory days, which will prepare you optimally for everyday working life. You will then be supervised by a departmental trainer in each of your various training departments.
