Initial Insights and Outstanding Prospects

An internship at Webasto allows you to gain hands-on experience while you are still at school or during school breaks. In the process, you can form your own impression of Webasto as an employer, gain interesting insights into the various fields of work, and establish a network of valuable contacts with vocational trainees and students. No matter what you ultimately decide to do later, this is sure to be beneficial.

 

Student Internship

  • Duration: 1 to 2 weeks

FOS Internship

  • For students at technical secondary schools

We offer internships from secondary school students at the following locations:

  • Webasto’s global headquarters is located in Stockdorf near Munich. Our new administrative and development building is a symbol of our corporate culture and the Webasto of the future. It stands for innovation and perfection, promotes the networked collaboration that is so important to us, and supports our continuous evolution.

    We offer the following internship opportunities:

    • During the school year, including breaks, for students of all types of secondary schools. Minimum duration: 1 week
    • Our student internships with a focus on business fields are offered at our YoungDrive junior company. Here you will support our vocational trainees in their daily work, become acquainted with all of a company’s business activities, and learn everything about our vocational training opportunities live and firsthand.

  • The Webasto facility in Utting, which opened in 1977, is located directly on Lake Ammersee. Here the company produces panorama, sliding, and solar roof systems for cars over a total floor space of 45,060 square meters.

    We offer the following internship opportunities:

    • During the school year, including breaks, for students of all types of secondary schools. Minimum duration: 1 week
    • We offer technical internships in the field of industrial mechanics (for career guidance purposes) at our training workshop.

  • Production of the first convertible roof in the company’s history began in 1986, in the Lower Bavarian city of Hengersberg. Upon completion of the new building at the site in 2013, Webasto has built the world’s most state-of-the-art project and development center for convertible roof systems.

    We offer the following internship opportunities:

    • During the school year, including breaks, for students of all types of secondary schools. Minimum duration: 1 week
    • We offer internships with a business focus in the fields of industrial and IT systems management
    • We offer technical internships (for career guidance purposes) in the fields of tool and industrial engineering, technical product design, and warehouse logistics at our training workshop

  • At the 45,000-square-meter facility in Schierling, located in the Upper Palatinate region of Germany, Webasto has manufactured a variety of different roof systems for automotive manufacturers all over the world since 1986. In addition to traditional sliding roof systems, the product portfolio also includes lightweight roof systems.

    We offer the following internship opportunities:

    • During the second week of Easter break and in the middle of July, for students of all types of secondary schools. Minimum duration: 1 week
    • We offer technical internships in the field of electromechanical engineering
