From my first day on the job, as a working student in personnel marketing, Webasto offered me a wide variety of tasks and exciting projects in which I was fully involved right from the start. After completing my master's degree in business psychology, I joined the company as a recruiting specialist. Now I have a lot of responsibility for various specialist areas in recruiting. What I have always liked about Webasto is the great working atmosphere and the wide range of development opportunities. In addition, I get a great insight into all HR topics through the support of my team and the close exchange with the specialist department.

I started at Webasto as a working student and after my studies I started as a trainee in the project management department. As a trainee, I was able to get to know various parts of the company in and around the project management area. I deliberately chose the position as a trainee in order to get to know as many employees as possible and to strengthen my network within Webasto. The expansion of my network was not limited to the Stockdorf site; I was also able to get to know many colleagues in China and America. What I particularly liked about the trainee program was that I was able to decide in which areas I wanted to get to know. My final follow-up position was also not defined, but I was free to apply for internal positions. That's how I ended up in the new Webasto Battery division, where I'm actively helping to drive forward projects in the battery sector.

I find practical work experience an essential addition to a study program. During my time as a working student, Webasto offered me precisely this added value through international and varied projects in which I was able to take on a lot of responsibility. After my studies, I got a full-time position as a buyer in strategic purchasing. I really enjoy working closely with suppliers, developing new strategies and cooperating with colleagues from various departments and countries. While on the one hand I can work very independently and help make decisions, on the other hand I always have a mentor available for questions and support. The great team spirit and the proximity to executives and management are what I find unique about Webasto.

In my job at Webasto, I appreciate the open and transparent communication and the excellent cooperation with my colleagues. The support and willingness to help is really practiced here at the company and I know that I can count on my colleagues at any time.
In terms of content, I can shape my own work and receive the complete confidence from management to implement things the way I recommend. Webasto offers me a lot of freedom to realize my ideas. On this basis of trust, it is also possible to complete my tasks from the home office or on the road and to organize my working hours flexibly to suit my everyday life.

If you want to get to know the processes in an international company and work independently, Webasto is the right place for you. Here, during the practical semester of my mechanical engineering studies, I can gain deep insights into the connection between design and practical implementation and use software programs that I previously only knew theoretically from lectures in practice for the first time. Monotonous "trainee tasks" hardly ever occur at Webasto - rather, challenging tasks provide a lot of motivation at work every day.

Encourage and challenge is Webasto's motto. An internal transfer gave me the possibility to expand my existing knowledge and move into a new environment that offers me many opportunities for development and room for experiments. Webasto is like a home to me. Thanks to the positive working atmosphere, the motivated colleagues and an employer with a heart, I can work there with pure joy on my projects.

I find it exciting to shape the mobility of tomorrow as part of Webasto. Thanks to the open corporate culture and the flat hierarchies, I can develop freely in my position, take on responsibility and have the support of my team. As a family-owned company, the well-being of the employees is a top priority, which helped us get through the Corona crisis in a sustainable manner, for example.

When choosing my training company, it was important for me to gain as many impressions and experiences as possible. I made exactly the right decision with Webasto. As the world market leader, the company offers numerous opportunities to enter different areas and develop further. Even as a trainee, you learn to manage your own projects and handle a certain amount of responsibility. I particularly appreciate the freedom Webasto offers its trainees. You can contribute your ideas and suggestions and watch your project grow and grow.

When choosing my training company, it was important to me to come to a company where I could gain as many impressions as possible. With Webasto, I made exactly the right decision, because it is possible for me to choose which departments I want to go through during my training. The more departments and areas of the company I get to know, the more I realize where my strengths lie. In the 2.5 years of training, you get to know yourself much better and go through a great development.

The training at Webasto is very organized and varied. I am able to supervise my own projects and contribute new ideas to the team. What I like is that there is no distinction between trainees and permanent employees. The departments and trainers have a lot of trust in us and give us a lot of responsibility, which helps me to always develop and gain as much experience as possible.

The great trust placed in working students at Webasto is truly unique. Here, you can take on responsibility right from the start and learn something new every day. As a student in the Engineering Systems department, I am involved in many exciting projects and, in addition to gaining extensive experience with systems such as CATIA, I also get a good overview of topics such as test bench construction and prototyping.

For me, working at Webasto means being able to take on exciting and varied tasks in an international company. Right from the start, I was warmly welcomed into my team, was allowed to contribute to projects and take on tasks and responsibilities independently. I met great people at Webasto, gained valuable insights and faced new challenges. All these things make my practical experience at Webasto a very value-adding and unique time.

After graduating from school, it was immediately obvious to me that I wanted to do something practical in the future. I consider Webasto's dual study program at the Munich Technical College to be very promising, as the theoretical content I had learned could be implemented directly in the company. The combination of continuous company experience and a fixed salary while studying convinced me and I would do the studies again at any time.

During my dual bachelor's degree program at Webasto, I was able to get to know various departments. I was not only at the headquarters in Stockdorf, but was also able to experience the day-to-day work in a plant in Utting near Lake Ammersee and in Birmingham (UK). After graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2020, I had the opportunity to study for my master's degree in a dual program at Webasto. Here, you are employed by a department for this period and can apply and deepen your technical knowledge in this specialist area.

The great thing about the dual study program at Webasto is that you are not only seen as a full team member from the very beginning, but are also allowed to take on responsibility.
